1. Magnetic switch

It is mainly used for automatic equipment to detect the position of cylinder piston. Generally, they are supplied by the cylinder supplier according to the customer's usage. As a matter of fact, the magnetic switch detects the target object through electromagnetic induction, so its detection accuracy is quite low.

2. Photoelectric switch

The photoelectric detection method has the advantages of high precision, fast response, non-touch, and many measurable parameters. The structure of the sensor is simple and the method is flexible and diverse. Therefore, the photoelectric sensor is widely used in detection and control. There are roughly three types of photoelectric switches that we generally refer to: reflective photoelectric sensors, through-beam photoelectric sensors, and photoelectric sensors that use reflective plates to reflect light. Generally, the latter two detection distances are farther and the accuracy is higher. Because the photoelectric sensor has a very high detection accuracy, it is generally used in non-standard automation equipment to detect the precise orientation of workpieces such as products or manipulators, as well as response equipment for stepping and servo systems.

3. Optical fiber sensor

Optical fiber sensor is also a detection element that uses photoelectric signal conversion. Compared with photoelectric switch, it can generally detect smaller target objects, longer detection distance and higher precision. Therefore, optical fiber sensors are generally used in more accurate detection occasions and positioning response equipment of stepping and servo systems.

4. Grating

A grating is also a sensor that utilizes photoelectric signals. The detection area of the grating is large, so it is generally called an area sensor. The main field of application of gratings is the interlocking and safety functions between equipment, especially for non-standard automation equipment that maintains people.
